Units are responding to a two-car rollover and fire in Destin, one transported to the hospital

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — First responders are at the scene of a serious two-car crash in Destin Friday night.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at the intersection of Emerald Coast Pkwy (Hwy 98) and Trista Terrace Ct.

Destin Fire Rescue reported the accident as a vehicle rollover. A vehicle appears to have caught fire. Several people were taken to the Fort Walton Beach emergency room as “trauma alert patients.” One person was airlifted to Sacred Heart Pensacola.

All westbound lanes are currently closed, according to OCSO.
