Battleford woman charged with drug trafficking following RCMP raids

On October 16, 2024, the North Battleford RCMP Crime Reduction Team (CRT-GTF) executed a search warrant at a residence on 34th Street West in Battleford, Saskatchewan after receiving reports of suspected drug trafficking methamphetamine.

During the searches, officers seized 234 grams of methamphetamine, a replica firearm and drug paraphernalia. An adult woman was arrested at the scene.

Martha Mitchell, 68, of Battleford, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine under section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Mitchell is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on November 18, 2024.
