Community spirit shines like jam@street

The third edition of Jam@Street, organized by Tata Steel Uisl in collaboration with Tata Power, Jojobera, has registered an overwhelming presence of over 25,000 people at Tintplate, Jamshedpur. The event, organized from 6:30 am, included from the roundabouts from Kali Mandir to the NILDID traffic sign, creating a vibrant space for the involvement and the community festivities. This edition aimed to encourage public cleaning feedback, as part of Jamshedpur’s offer to ensure the 1st place in Swachh Survekshan-2024.

Tata Power played a crucial role in the community involvement with interactive stands and a convincing Nukkad Naatak. Club Enerj, Eco crew and climatic crew carried out activities focused on energy conservation and sustainable life. Anokha Dhaaga presented artisan jute products by handmade women in Jamshedpur and Odisha, promoting economic and sustainability. Pay Authention and E-Sanidhya have sensitized on neurodiversity and autism, with digital tools and early screening solutions, while an Nukkad Naatak Awareness of amplified autism. Tata Power Skill Development Institute held sessions on “supplying the lasting future” and promoted solar solutions on the roof.

The event was marked by the presence of the upper leaders, including the CEO – IEl and the boss, Power Jamshedpur and the head of the projects (generation), emphasizing the company’s commitment for the involvement and sustainability of the community.

Jam@Street offered a variety of activities dealing with all age groups, including badminton sessions, Zumba workouts, adventure sports, live musical performances, basketball and karate demonstrations, painting activities and temporary tattoos. The Zumba dance session was a major climax, energizing the crowd throughout the event.

The third edition of Jam@Street has successfully encouraged the community connection and promoted the awareness of the environment, inclusion and durability, receiving positive feedback and strengthening -and the meaning as a community initiative.
