Man accused of trafficking in people found in Owensboro

Owensboro, Ky. (WFIE) – Deputies of the sheriff in Daviess county say that the Owensboro police department helped find a man suspected of trafficking in people.

Officials say James Paris, 44, was arrested on Saturday near Smother Park in the center of Owensboro.

According to a Facebook post on the office page of the sheriff in Daviess county, the deputies received several calls and tips after Asking for help on the public Thursday.

Paris is now in the prison in Daviess county, accused of trafficking in people, procuring/promoting the use of a minor by electronic means and holding marijuana and metth.
