Harris County: 505 Cypress Station Drive Shooting

A man is dead after being shot several times in his friend’s apartment in the northern Harris county, according to officials.

What do we know:

shooting It happened on Saturday around 10:40 at an apartment complex on Cypress Station Drive.

When the deputies arrived, they found a man who had been shot several times inside an apartment. The paramedics pronounced the deceased man on the spot.

According to SGT. Sidney Miller, the victim was at the apartment to visit his girlfriend, who was there with a female friend.

When he arrived at the apartment, he entered an altercation with another man who was also at the apartment. The altercation was then climbed to shooting.

Sgt. Miller says the suspect was described only as a black man, who eventually wore a white hood and left the scene in a blue or dark sedan.

On the spot, officials say that the two witnesses were interviewed to help determine the circumstances of the shot.

What we don’t know:

Neither the suspect nor the victim have been identified at this time. Sgt. Miller said a family came to the scene to try to confirm the victim’s identity.

Also, investigators analyze whether the victim also fired during the altercation.
