UP: Student B. Tech, 17 years old, was raped while returning from college

The crime took place on the evening of February 21, when the accused, Himanshu, gave the student an elevator on his motorcycle, while on his way to the faculty.

The police said that a thread was filed against the accused and three of his friends, who helped him in the act.

Rajesh Dhanvat, the charthawal police station, said the incident took place on the evening of February 21, when the student was returning home from college, and the accused, Himanshu, gave him a lift on his motorcycle.

“However, the accused then led her to a field, where he raped it. His three friends helped him in the act,” the police official said.

The girl later told that she played her ordeal, who filed a complaint that led to a thread against Himanshu and her friends Sagir, Siddhath and ADEsh in accordance with the relevant provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Pocso Act, Dhanvat said.

He said that all accusations are abandoned and arrest attempts are made, while the girl has undergone medical examination and additional legal procedures are performed.
