Engwe Mapfour N1 Pro revises: elegant, high technology, with serious anti-tunnel intelligences

N1 Pro has a futuristic frame design, characterized by a distinctive gap in the diamond due to the absence of a complete length set. The handlebar integrates a headlight with double beam and ambient RGB lighting bands. These strips feel tickled and slightly outside the place on a premium -looking bicycle, such as beating a game keyboard on a MacBook Pro. The back has a tail light with solar energy.

An LED display is incorporated into the handlebar and offers an overview of all key statistics, including speed, left battery, assistance mode, lights and so on. It is easy to read and bright enough, which makes it easy to take a look.

The primable 36V 10Ah lithium-ion battery offers a range of up to 62 mm (100 km) on a single charge. The taller and heavier riders riding the hills could see a significantly reduced range, as with each electric bicycle on the planet.

Not only can you lock and unlock the bike using the Engwe app, which I would say is a standard practice these days, but you can locate the bike as if you attach a Apple Airtag at the frame.

Apparently, the bike has an Esim in it, allowing the application to locate it even if the battery is removed. Better, you can configure two different types of geofa (feasibility and fence in the restricted area) or make N1 Pro warn people around the potential theft bike, sounding an alarm noise.

Also, receive password protection (which you can unlock using E-Bike display) and configure intuitive unlock that uses a proximity sensor to remove bicycle lock. In total, it is a considerable effort from Engwe to make sure no one is with N1 Pro!

Travel performance

Due to the five levels of assistance, seven physical speeds and light chassis, riding Mapfour N1 Pro is a dream. Engwe claims that the bike provides EMTB support levels through its Ananda Mid-Drive engine on the hills; I considered it true, apart from the very steep hills.

It almost feels useless to have a bicycle in superior assistance ways, apart from moderate to provocative sections – it rolls by bicycle and is easy to deal with, without problems. This is often the case with light electronic bicycles; On the flat surfaces, it is almost felt that the electrical assistance is not necessary, because the bicycle works so well.

Engwe Mapfour N1 Pro is all that I wanted Fiido air to be. The wonderful light chassis is combined with a powerful medium traction engine and an intuitive couple sensor that pushes you forward as smooth as butter. The anti-fruit characteristics are cared for, and the quality of the trip is also excellent.

Is it a perfect accessible carbon bike? Not. The approach with a frame with unique dimensions does not work clearly with taller riders, and those rgb light bands are not elegant. The screen could be a little brighter, but this is not a massive problem. In addition, the Mapfour N1 Pro is an interesting offer of electronic carbon bicycles for conscious price riders.
