Miami (WSVN) – a pedestrian is admitted to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle Monday morning.

According to Miami police, they reached 5968 Boulevard Biscayne Biscayne in a traffic accident involving a pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle that remained on the spot.

The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Ryder Trauma Center.

Police said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
