Circleville police respond to over 100 incidents over three days

Circleville, OH – Circleville Police Department has responded to over 100 incidents between February 21 and February 23, managing a variety of calls, from additional patrols to burglary and internal disorders.

Increased patrols and routine checks
During the three-day period, the officers have made numerous additional patrols in the city, especially on East Franklin Street, North Court Street and Walnut Street. Business and security checks were also carried out, all of which were found in order.

Reported major incidents
Among the more serious incidents, the officers responded to a burglary reported on 23 in the US in the early morning of February 21, taking a report in this regard. In addition, material damage was reported on East Franklin Street and a fire on North Court Street later that morning.

The department also received reports on theft on the Nicholas market, the city street, East Mound Street and North Pickaway Street. Officers have reported in these cases to help ongoing investigations.

Traffic and public safety
Several traffic stops were made during the three days, resulting in a mixture of citations and warnings. South Court Street, US 23 route and Lancaster Pike, among other locations, were stopped. A Clark Drive traffic offense has led to an arrest.

Authorities also managed a series of welfare checks, suspicious person reports and domestic disorders. A Lancaster Pike’s welfare control led to a person’s transport to a hospital by emergency respondents.

Community and civilian issues
The police addressed several civil issues, including the Document and Litigile Service. Also, an animal complaint were reported on South Pickaway Street and a railway complaint on the South Court Street, although no additional measures were taken in these cases.

Ongoing investigations
The cases involving fraud, threats, vandalism and harassment are currently examined, the officers continuing to investigate the reports made in recent days. The police department urges residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
