Two were found dead in the house in Lane County, the ongoing investigation

Lane County, hours. – Two people were found dead inside a residence in the McGowan Creek RD area. Sunday, and now the Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is looking for answers.

LCSO says that immediately after 3:00 pm, on February 23, 2025, the deputies responded to a residence in block 36000 from McGowan Creek Road after receiving the report on “possible died at the location”.

According to the sheriff’s office, when the authorities arrived at the scene, the fire staff confirmed that two adults were dead. LCSO says a third individual was located and detained by deputies as the investigation continues.

Authorities say I think there is no continuous threat to the community. The investigation is in its early stages and more details will be launched as they become available.
