The second Swan thief accused by Swan surrenders in Polk County

Lakeland, Fla. -A second man accused of stealing black swans from a neighborhood in Polk county was taught to the deputies.

The office of the sheriff in Polk County said that Jordan Montoya, 27, surrendered around 11:30 on Friday night.

The deputies declared on February 12, Montoya, together with Alfredo Casanova, 29 years old, stole two black swans and their eggs from Highland Village Mobile Home Park in Lakeland. Suspects were caught taking two big fishing nets on security images around 5 in the morning

PCSO identified suspects like Casanova and Montoya and issued arrest warrants for crime and high theft for theft of swans. Casanova He returned a day later.

The deputies recovered the swans and eggs and were returned home on February 17.

Both men were accused of theft from a structure (with an improvement in crossing the county lines) and theft.
