Gauten Police said six suspects in transit were killed on Monday in a Laudium police exchange.

The police said they are supposed to be on the way to Atteridgeville to rob a utility vehicle when they were intercepted.

A spokesman said the police tried to stop the suspects’ vehicles when the shot appeared.

Four firearms were confiscated on the spot, while a suspect was arrested.
