Two women arrested for sales of articles at the Dollar Store

Wayne County, Ky. (Wymt) – Two women in Pulaski County are facing charges for their roles in taking more than $ 500 articles from a general store in Wayne County.

The incident happened on Sunday at The Dollar General of East Kentucky Highway 92.

Some employees noticed a passenger car trying to leave the parking lot.

Employees said a woman from the inside has just pushed two shopping carts in the store without paying.

Later, the police came to the passenger car and noticed several objects on the rear seat.

The police took the objects out of the car and returned to the store’s employees.

A woman said she took the goods because her children had hunger and had no money to buy them food.

The employees scanned the articles, which came out a total of $ 520.91.

Karea Kelly and Tabitha Decker, both of Somerset, were accused of theft by taking or illegal disposition – ShopLifting ($ 500, but less than $ 1,000).

The two women were taken to the detention center in Wayne County.
