Elyria Teen still in critical condition after "accidental shooting": Police

Elyria, Ohio (Woio)-Elyria Polishment gave a Monday update on the condition of a 15-year-old after an accidental shooting this weekend.

Police Elyria said the teenager stays in critical but stable.

The police say the shooting seems to be accidental.

According to a socialization post from the Elyria Police Department, the officers were called on the spot on block 1100 Melvyn Lane immediately after 3:30 pm on Saturday.

Police found a 15 -year -old boy with a shot wound.

The teenager was taken to the hospital, according to Elyria police.

The investigation is in progress.
