Investigations on drug trafficking multiple arrests

Huntington, W.va. (WSAZ)-A underway investigation of a drug trafficking organization in Michigan operating in the Huntington area has registered three arrests, according to the Huntington Police Department.

On Thursday, Task Force Drugs Violent Crime Huntington and the HPD Swat team executed two search mandates in the 8th Avenue block and the 300 West 9th Avenue block in the Huntington SouthSide neighborhood.

HPD reported that five people were arrested and charged.

Joseph Dre Moore, 45 years old, from Michigan and Huntington faces a crime conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, holding the crime of a controlled substance with the intention to release, the criminal persons forbidden to hold a firearm and to Obtains offenses an officer. Moore also had an exceptional crime mandate for robbery, officials said.

Ralph Preston Croff Jr., 50 -year -old from Huntington was accused of crimes that obstructed an officer and five crime warrants for non -compliance as a sexual offender.

Dreveon Moore, 18 years old, from Huntington was accused of crimes that obstructed an officer.

Tyjuan A. Moore, 19 years old, from Huntington was accused of crimes that obstructed an officer.

Robert Ronald Moore, 65, from Huntington was accused of crime conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.

During the operation, the officers confiscated cocaine, heroin, marijuana, recipe pills, drug packing materials, firearm and cash.

Several arrests are expected, HPD said.
