Man to serve 4 years in prison for repeated sexual aggression of the young girl

What was to be a pre-process conference was transformed into the admission of Frankie Anthony Castro to repeatedly agrees and raping a young woman known to him.

Castro, 60 years old, pleaded guilty of the third -degree criminal sexual conduct, as a second -degree crime, before the judge of the Superior Court, John Terlaje.

He has been in arrest for more than a year and accepted a plea agreement.

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with five years suspended with served time credit, leaving him for four more years to serve.

He will be freedom of freedom for three years after his sentence.

Defense lawyer Christine Tenorio told the court that the victim had been notified.

According to the agreement, Castro agreed to comply with various conditions, including to stay away from the victim, to submit to counselors and treatment and to register as a level sexual offender.

Castro expressed his remorse for his actions while speaking before the court and asked the judge to consider the cardiac condition in the conviction.

“I just wanted to bring you the honor, my heart. I will say that I am sorry for what I have done. The first time I did something like this in my life, the 60 years still being alive, ”he said.

As he recognized the guilt, he made a single request.

“I just wanted to ask the court if you have a heart not to make me do the five years,” he asked. “I just want to change my life.”

Tenorio reminded the Castro Court of Health as a factor in plea, mentioning that he contributed to the decision to plead to the third degree, rather than to a more severe accusation.

“He has already obtained the benefit, which is why we were removed from the CSC from the first degree and entered the third degree. It is because of his health, ”she said.

Terlaje trained Castro to talk to his lawyer to submit the appropriate documents. However, his defense lawyer said they had no objections.

The court also rejected the remaining accusations against him. Initially confronted five charges of Criminal Sexual Conduct and five charges of second -degree criminal conduct, all as grade I.

Terlaje reminded Castro that, if he violated any conditions of conditional release or freedom, he could cope with the maximum punishment of 10 years in this case at the local prison.

The police caught Castro in February 2024, just over a year after a girl reported that he had sexually assaulted and raped him several times.

Castro expressed no surprise for his arrest, stating: “I waited for this day,” the court documents said.
