Four people were arrested in Waihi about a robbery space in the area, including two who were arrested while passing the police station.

Sergeant Waihi, Nigel Sanderson said that clothing, food and a car would have been stolen from holiday parks and a house for a few days earlier this month.

He said that the information from the public helped officers to identify suspects.

“The information they provided us allowed us to act quickly -and two of the accused were arrested as they passed the Waihi Police Section.”

A 31-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from Karangahake, were jointly accused of a holiday park; A 48-year-old Auckland man was also accused of theft from a separate holiday park; While a 24 -year -old Waihi man was accused of burglary of a residential property.

All four were experiencing charges of burglary in court at subsequent data.

“It is horrible to know that someone has invaded your home or has gone through your property and it is great to get this result for victims,” ​​said Sanderson.
