How diverse are Emmys? Academy Dei TV report reveals industry representation by numbers

Diversity, equity and inclusion are unusually controversial words in the current political climate, but the Television Academy is still engaged to judge Dei from its 2025 transparency report.

“The television academy remains engaged in its efforts to build a welcoming and inclusive community for all its members,” the introduction shows. “This work is in progress, with the impact composed over time. As in the case of previously published reports, the Academy continues its commitment to transparency and responsibility, publishing an image of our member demography and our progress to our goals.”
