Second chance antiques in Everett

Five Snohomish and Skagit antiques stores in Skagit County were hit or stored shopping attempts by a group of fraudsters. Other small companies in the area were also registered.

On Friday, Q13 Fox presented a segment with the second -owner of Everett’s Second Chance Chance Chance. For those of you who do not know Bryan McClimans, he was Presented in our series “Meet the owners”.

Security movies of suspected thieves

McClimans told Fox that the suspects entered his store on two separate occasions. The warnings on the social networks with security images have already spread among the owners, so Brian McClimans decided to face them on the second visit.

After showing them around the store, he showed them a picture with thieves and said, “This is you. This is your family. Steal for a living. I can’t sink it. I need to leave my store right now. “

They left and did not return to the store.

A group trying to watch street scams recognized them from surveillance videos and had this to share:

“An organized crime ring, known as the Badanac Crime Family, who mostly lives in Everett, Wa. This week they stole thousands of dollars of jewelry and other valuables from ancient and boutique stores along the I-5 corridor.

They are Romanian criminals – mainly from Romania and other European countries. There are proud chameleons and they are often pretending to be tourists from the Middle East, India or Spanish -speaking countries.

The Facebook group, Street Scammer Watch, has managed to identify many of the people in the photos attached from the victimized stores. Three of the women in the photos presented were arrested in Utah, one of them is currently for deportation. Their names are Cristina Serban, Dabrah (Deborah) Badanac and Elvira Badanac.

This group of thieves often uses distraction techniques to overwhelm the shops by the fact that several members of the group enter into a business at the same time. They ask questions, ask to look at jewelry and other valuables and maintain the staff of the store concerned while “to work” at a store. It is known to use children to help distract and/or steal.

Please warn the companies in your area – work in groups and will “hit” as many companies in a area at the same time. It is possible to return to a victimized business and/or have a new group of thieves from their crime ring to visit the same business. “
