Burr Ridge Murder Suspect Oscar Rodriguez, accused of killing Mother Virna Rodriguez in the Sledgehammer attack refused to release pre-Process

Burr Ridge, ill. (WLS) – A judge refused to release the pre-process for a man from West Suburban, accused of killing his mother with a sledgehammer.

Virna Rodriguez died on Sunday, two days after she was attacked in her home on South Madison Street in Burr Ridge.

Her son, Oscar Rodriguez, made his first appearance in court on Monday.

He is facing several accusations, including grade.

Rodriguez is about to return to court next month.
