Against the background of the highly publicized legal battle between Hybe and the former CEO ador min hee jin, a new set of accusations came around Ador in December last year, when a Newjeans manager (now NJZ), accused of CEO, Kim Joo Young, harassing at work. A few months after the complaint of intimidation, the Regional Office in Seoul, within the Ministry of Employment and Labor, has now rejected the case, asserting insufficient evidence to support applications.

According to a Chosun Biz report, the authorities of the work ended the investigation and declared CEO Kim Joo Young “are not guilty”. They explained that the evidence provided by the applicant proved to be insufficient to confirm harassment at work, thus leading to cases. The ministry offered a closing without “accusations” against the CEO, further stating that it is not “unable to confirm whether it has been intimidation in the workplace.”

The complaint was filed in December last year, when the manager accused of adorning that he limited him for hours and confiscated his phone and personal laptop. “They tured me to believe that we have a business negotiation and then they gave me a waiting notification and asked me to return my laptop at home. Despite the fact that I asked to leave work, they illegally limited me about three hours until the laptop returned. They forced me to send my personal mobile phone for no legal reason, “said a part of the complaint.

The complaint appeared at the same time when Hybe performed an internal audit, after finding the manager in contact with the advertising agents without involving the company. However, I adore rejected the statements, adding that her agreement between artists and brand has violated the exclusive contracts of the company. “Recently, an employee responsible for the management of artists directly contacted an advertising agent, bypassing the company and tried to facilitate a direct contract between the artist and the brand. The manager acknowledged that he was employed in this communication. This is a serious violation of the company’s policy, because it helps to violate the exclusive contract of the artist ”, read the statement quoted by Koreaboo.

Ador also clarified that there were no cases of illegal constraint or prison during the audit process, further adding that the manager has formatted the laptop before sending. It should be mentioned that the case refers to a third -party harassment complaint that involves ador and hybe. Previously, the authorities rejected the case submitted by former CEO Min Hee Jin against Hybe directors. After finding no evidence, the case was closed without charges.
