High school basketball semifinals are heading at Mississippi Coliseum

Jackson, Miss. (Wlox) – Basketball semifinals for boys and girls went to Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, with a few coastal teams that want to win big.

Girls’ class 7a

The Indians of the Lady took the yellow Starkville. In the first quarter, the Indians kept Yellowjackets at one point, jumping at an advance of 11-1.

Starkville found his crime in the second quarter with a few harsh buckets, but Biloxi held Yellowjackes at a 14-8 advantage.

In the second half, it was all the defense for Starkville. Lady jacket held biloxi at just 2 points. Starkville continued to win the game, 23-16 and will advance to play Toupelo in The championship round Thursday.

The class of boys 7a

Biloxi boys basketball team took Mavericks Germantown.

Steaua Biloxi, Jakylen Edwards, made the crime for Indians, lifting almost all the points in Biloxi’s first quarter.

On the Mavericks side, Mike and Mason Williams’s dynamic duo, Jackson’s head, Mo, Mo, Mo Williams’ sons, kept the Germantown offense with a 15-point advantage.

This impulse continued to go throughout the game, with Mavericks defeating Biloxi, 55-30.

Germantown is now advancing in his first The state championship.

The class of boys 6a

Later in the week, a coastal team remains in the semifinals in Pascagoul Panthers, while being prepared for a rejection of last year’s semifinal against Ridgeland. The panthers come with a general record of 26-3 and they dropped Terry in the quarterfinals 59-37. Ridgeland comes with a 28-4 record and took Town Warren Central 56-41 in the quarterfinals.

The match between Pascagoula and Ridgeland is set for Thursday after -mosquate.
