The Trump administration has guided the federal agencies to ignore Elon Musk’s call to employees who fail to send weekly work summaries, leaving each agency to decide how to answer.

Several agencies, including the Department of Justice, the FBI, the State Department, Pentagon, the Department of Energy, the Department of Internal Security and the Office of the National Intelligence Director, instructed their employees to ignore the request, the Washington Post reported.

Some departments did not have to reject Musk’s mandate yet, leaving the door open when the federal employees who do not comply.
