Richard Gadd’s new HBO/BBC series, “Half Man”, adds another 13 distribution members

Half man”, The future HBO and BBC drama from six episode Richard Gadd This is the pursuit of his successful winner, “Baby Reindeer” (who ran on Netflix), ended his distribution. Along with Gadd and Co-Star Jamie Bell will be Mitchell Robertson, Stuart Campbell, Neve Mcintosh and Marianne Mcivor, among others.

Gadd and Bell (“All strangers”, “Rocket Man”) play alienated “Brothers” Ruben and Niall, in the series, which has now started to shoot at the location of Scotland. Robertson (“Curfew”) will play a young Niall, while Campbell (“Rogue Heroes”) plays a young Ruben. Mcintosh (“Doctor Who”) will play Lori, Niall’s mother, while Mcivor (“Lady Chatterley’s lover”) will play Maurum, Ruben’s mother.

Others who have joined the distribution include Charlie de Melie (“The Interceptor”), Bilal Hasna (“Agency”), Julie Cullen (“draw”) and Philippines Velge (“Station Eleven”).

Also, in distribution: Stuart McQuarrie (“28 days later”), Piers Ewart (“The Primrose Railway Children”), Scot Greenan (“T2 Trainpoting”), Charlotte Blackwood (“Jack”) and Calum Manchip (” Billie ”)

Gadd created, writes and execute produces “Half Man”, besides the fact that he played in series. Along with GADD, executive producers include Tally Garyner and Morven Reid from Mam Tor Productions (a Banjilay UK), Gaynor Holmes for BBC and Gavin Smith for BBC Scotland. The series will be directed by Alexandra Brodski (“Somewhere Boy”, “Rivals”) and Eshref Reybrouck (“Ferry: The Series”, “Cheyenne & Lola”), while Wendy Griffin (“Limbo”, “The Lost King” ) produces. The show is to be filmed in Scotland.

“Half Man” is made by Mam Tor Productions for HBO, BBC IPlayer, BBC One and BBC Scotland. Moneyjay Rights deals with international distribution outside the United Kingdom, Ireland and US Screen Scotland supports production.
