The man killed in a tree cutting accident on the property of Hannover

A man from Pittsburgh died on Monday, when he was hit by a tree that fell, as he cut it on the property of Hannover.

The 71 -year -old James Krapp cut trees at 536 Meadow Road, when at one point, between 9:00 and 16:00, he was fatally hit, said Washington County, Tim Warco. -a press release about the incident.

It is not clear who discovered Krapp’s body on the property of 100 acres or how it was hit by the tree. He was pronounced dead by the forensic office at 18:40, and the cause and the way of death are investigated.

The police in the city of Hannover said their officers are on the spot, but the Cazarm Moon Township states are in charge of the investigation on the incident.

The State Police School, Rocco Gagliardi said that Krapp’s death seems to be an accident, because he cut a tree near an ATV route and fell on it. Gagliardi said he has no additional details about the incident, and the State Police did not immediately issue a press release on Krapp’s death.

The police were assisted on the spot by the Hannover Fire Department, the Ambulance and the president of Washington County and the Firefighters from Beaver County.
