The terrified witnesses told about the moment when a “massive dog” began to pass on an innocent pensioner in a horror attack in Warrington, Monday evening (February 24).

Emergency crews went to the Bardsley Avenue incident around 18.40 PM to report an 84 -year -old man was attacked by a dog. The neighbors rushed and began to attack the dog in an attempt to stop the attack before the armed officers arrived.

The victim, local in the area, was in a hurry at Aintree Hospital on the spot in a critical state.

The dog, believing by the police as an XL battle, escaped from a nearby address. The army police turned the area and killed the dog outside the house, before a second suspicious dog is shot inside. A third smaller dog has been confiscated.

The Cheshire police said that the firearms officers fired 19 shots in dogs due to the “size and ferocity” of the animals.

A 29 -year -old woman has since been arrested under the suspicion of being in the possession of a dangerous dog under control, causing serious injury. The questions are also in progress to locate a 40 -year -old man in relation to the incident.

The neighbors were left “terrified” by the incident. A man said ECHO How he “saw everything” and felt “traumatized”, while he said: “It was horrible. I was looking on the kitchen window and I saw a guy lying on the floor on the road.

“I thought the man had a heart attack. Then I saw this massive dog. So I ran and beat him with the yard brush. But it didn’t work. It won’t go down.

“We called on the road for someone to call the police. The police arrived and we were told to enter. We had to go away because the dog could have attacking us.”

A cord remained in place all over Tuesday, with forensics in white costumes seen leaving a property with household waste. Also, a remote brush from a house was observed.

Cheshire Constabulary, the chief of Constanta Mark Roberts, said: “He was an innocent man, who was simply walking on the street when he was horrible by an unregistered suspected bat. These dogs are like weapons; Their physical attributes can make the possession of a firearm loaded with a questionable safety capture.

“The pure size and ferocity of these animals mean that our firearms were forced to download 19 fires – all of them touching their targets – to bring the incident to a conclusion and to ensure public safety.

“While the victim now receives the treatment he demands, there is no doubt that this incident will affect him for the rest of his life.
