Manhunt launched it after the woman and the man attacked Rutherglen at home

A Manhunt is in progress after a woman and a man were attacked in a home in South Lanarshire on Tuesday.

The emergency services were called to Mill Street in Rutherglen, around 12.55 pm, following the reports of a wounded woman.

The 32-year-old had been seriously assaulted in a nearby Lander Drive house. A 33 -year -old man was also attacked.

They were both taken to the hospital.

However, no arrests were made, investigators follow a positive line of investigation.

A police spokesman in Scotland said: “Around 12.55 pm, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, we were called to a report of a 32 -year -old woman injured on Mill Street, Rutherglen, after being seriously attached. in a house on the nearby Landemer Drive. A 33 -year -old man was also assaulted.

“They were both taken by ambulance to the hospital.

“The questions are in progress to follow the responsible man, and the officers follow a positive line of investigation.”
