The army, who was at war with the paramilitary Fast support forces (RSF) from April 2023, said the plane collapsed during the neckline, the killing and injury of both military and civilians.

“After a final, the number of martyrs reached 46 years, with 10 injured,” said the Press Office of the Khartoum Regional Government, in a statement.

The accident came one day after RSF claimed its responsibility to shoot an Ilyushin aircraft made by Russian over Nyala, the capital of Southern Darfur

The paramilitary group said the plane was destroyed with its crew on board.

Recent climbing follows significant progress of the Central Sudan and Khartoum capital in its multi-border offensive against RSF.

On Saturday, Saturday, the RSF signed a status with political and allied armed groups of Nairobi, Kenya, opening the way for the formation of a parallel government in the areas owned by the rebels.

Starting with April 2023, the head of Army Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his former deputy and RSF commander, Mohamed Hamadan Daglo, once allied, were blocked in a deadly power fight.

The war, which claimed tens of thousands of lives, broke out after a break between Burhan and Daglo about the future government structure.

The conflict triggered one of the most serious humanitarian disasters in the world in recent memory, according to the United Nations.

The fight devastated Khartoum and other important cities, moving over 12 million, plunging the country in hunger and critical infrastructure.
