19 suspects arrested following sex traffic operation

Tallahassee, FL – the Sheriff’s office in Leon County says that 19 people were arrested during a sex traffic operation, called “Resolution of operations”. It was a multi-agency operation for two days, performed in January.

LCSO says that 19 people were arrested, 49 people made contacts for the request, and 80 people have taken contacts for the trafficking of people of minors.

They say there are more ongoing investigations.

LCSO says suspects include an oncology surgeon and a college teacher, a tutor at a local elementary school and a voluntary fireman from a neighboring county.

A preparation to prevent human trafficking is organized at the School District Office in Leon County on Thursday, 11:30 pm – 1:30 pm
