2 of Colorado Springs arrested in Pueblo County following vehicle theft

Colorado Springs, there. (KKTV) – Wednesday, two people from Colorado Springs were arrested on a property north of Pueblo because they tried to steal a tractor while circumventing law enforcement, according to the sheriff’s office in Pueblo County.

The deputies said they found out on Wednesday morning that a stolen vehicle from El Paso County was heading for I-25 to Pueblo County. They said that the suspects of Colorado Springs, Brandt Boden, 25, and Aleeyah Niknami, 26, abandoned the vehicle stolen north of Pueblo and started walking through a prey.

The sheriff’s office said that deputies and Sheriff Devid Luero responded with two K9 to search the vehicle. It is assumed that they received a call that reported that a man who matches Boden’s description was leading a tractor through a fence on a ranch.

The deputies said that a witness of the farm was approaching the suspects, and the two suspects went down the tractor and took off again. They said the witness called the Sheriff’s office about the meeting.

The deputies said that they and the sheriff responded to the property to seek suspects. They said they found the suspects and took them in arrest.

The sheriff’s office said that Boden acknowledged that he had stolen a vehicle in El Paso county, and the deputies from El Paso county were arrested. He faces charges of second -degree criminal offenses, criminal mistakes and I. Niknami vehicle theft was arrested for theft of second -degree (complicity) and second -degree criminal offenses, and she was arrested on an outstanding term, according to the sheriff’s office.
