Two people who face accusations after Rollover collapsed in Quinte West

Kawartha Lakes-a unique collision of the Quinte West vehicle has led to accusations against two people.

OPP officers Quinte West responded to a lifting truck report rolled in a ditch along the county of 40, north of the 401 motorway, shortly after 10:30 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2025. The police say the driver fled from the scene.

The officers located the accused in another vehicle, but initially a false name was provided in accordance with the police.

Nicholas Johnson, 37, was accused of:

  • Obstructing a peace officer
  • Careless leadership
  • Fails to stay at the place of a collision

This accused was released from the arrest and is scheduled to appear before the Court of Justice in Ontario in Belleville, on March 20, 2025.

Thomas Johnson, 39 -year -old from Marmora and Lake Township, was accused of obstructing a peace officer. This accused is scheduled to appear before the Court of Justice in Ontario in Belleville, on March 27, 2025.
