Pikeville Medical Center fundraising event to provide help for flood victims

Pikeville, Ky. (WSAZ) – Tonight, February 27, Pikeville Medical Center and PMC Foundation will host a live flood relief resource and a fundraising event to help all who need, after more than a month of rain, have allocated a large part of Kentucky in less than 24 hours.

Floods on February 16 and other weather -related events killed 23 people in Kentucky.

Crucial relief is required.

The governor has announced that President Donald Trump has approved the request for a major accelerated disaster statement, which includes public assistance for local administrations and individual assistance for Kentuckians in 11 counties affected by the latest storms.

These counties are Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, KNOTT, Lee, Letcher, Martini, Owsley, Perry and I know that.

Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) and the PMC Foundation grow to support those affected.

The live flood and fundraising event will take place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
