Mumbai: A fire broke out on the 42nd floor of the Salsette 27 building, a 57 -storey residential tower located near the new Moara Instal to BA Road in Byculla East, Mumbai, Wednesday morning.

The fire was related to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) around 10:45, the fire teams reaching the site shortly after declaring a level I emergency, currently fire control operations are underway. Fire views appeared on the Internet that showed smoke from the floor affected by the fire.

According to MFB officials, the fire is limited to the 42nd floor of the tall building. So far, no wounds have been reported. The cause of the fire is still determined, and the officials focus on the content of the fire to prevent additional damage.
