Who killed Lottie in Yellowjackes season 3? All our theories, explained

Gallowjackets season 3 I did not wait for the end to kill a major character. Episode 4 ended with a fairly shocking death that we certainly have not seen and we are not sure how we will wait another week (or more) to find out who did it. WARNING: There are Major spoilers for yellowjackets season 3 episode 4 Before, so come back -now if you haven’t seen the episode and you don’t want to know what’s going on!

Well, if you are still here, you will know that this week’s episode culminated with Lottie’s death in current chronology, which Misty discovers through her “citizen detectives” (and a call from Walter). After Shauna removes Lottie from her house because she exceeded her borders with Callie, we see her repeating a kind of excuses in a mirror. It seems that he will meet someone, but the next time he will be on the screen, it is when he was dead at the bottom of a flight of stairs with a head injury, surrounded by candles. Pretty scary.

But who actually killed Lottie? While we are waiting to find out for sure, we have presented all the major suspects below – and their possible reasons.

Taissa

When we see Lottie’s body at the end of episode 4, it is surrounded by candles, making the scene seem almost ritual. As Taissa is aspirated further and further in the habits of the wild as the season progresses, it must be one of our suspects. While she does not have a personal beef with Lottie itself, is it very the idea of making another sacrifice to keep Van alive, as her stuntman with the book pack in episode 4 could Lottie be her next victim?

Shauna

Shauna is not one for rituals, but we know she is very upset about Lottie, after giving Jackie’s necklace to Callie. Shauna is not satisfied with the fact that Lottie spent time with her daughter, but the necklace pushed it over the edge and gave Lottie in her house. He also believed that someone was following her and was properly frightened after being locked up in the entrance freezer, so could he have caused extreme measures with lotty? We are not sure, but we know that Shauna is more than capable of murder.

Misty

Misty also has reasons to be upset about Lottie for her part in Nat’s death. Misty was the one who killed her, for sure, but it is easy to see how she could blame Lottie that she put it in this situation -the only reason they were all there when with wellness with first, especially NAT was to find out what was happening to Lottie. After Misty and Shauna quarreled in episode 4, Misty has an additional reason to get her anger on Lottie: Shauna is upset that Misty has not kept Lottie and Callie. He seemed quite shocked when Walter called to tell him the news, but we all know that Misty is perfectly capable of murder.

Melissa

Now, I haven’t met the current Melissa yet and it has not been confirmed that it will appear even in season 3, but we think it is quite likely with the way things go. It has been theorized that the character Hilary Swank plays could be the adult version of Melissa, and the show seems to involve that she is the one who is following Shauna. He could act from jealousy if he had seen Lottie stay in Shauna during his observations about Sedeki’s house or could have a longer desire against Lottie, that I have not yet seen the roots in the desert.

Walter

Walter is the first character in the show to learn about Lottie’s death, who feels a little suspicious. It is closed on the citizens’ detective forums, of course, but we know it is a pretty shaded guy. I don’t like Misty’s friends, because he doesn’t think he treats her well, but why would Lottie specifically target him? Well, he saw how bad Misty cope with Nat’s death, and Lottie was at least somewhat involved. Walter’s reasons are still a mystery at this time, but we don’t trust him – so he’s on the list.
