The High Court Karnataka reminds the police that he cannot use WhatsApp to call the accused

Despite this fact, on February 14 this year, the Karnataka Adugodi Police Section used WhatsApp to issue a notification to a 25-year-old student from Tamil Nadu, asking them to appear before the police regarding a criminal case involving charges of identity and impersonation by using a computer resource.

The student moved the High Court by challenging this notification. The court annulled the notification of WhatsApp and told the police that it may issue new notification in accordance with the law.
