Northampton Drug drugs closed for sexual abuse of the girl, 13 years old

The Northamptoniire police said the force started an investigation in 2023, after sexual abuse reports.

The officers went to the 13-year-old girl’s house, where Lloyd was arrested after being found hidden behind a shower curtain.

In May 2024, while the investigation was ongoing, the police said they found 11 heroin coats and 47 Crack cocaine, along with cash, after Lloyd was stopped on Goldings Road, Northampton.

The police said he told them he was planning to sell them.

Speaking after the sentence to Northampton Crown Court last month, Det con Laura Beeby said: “Joshua Lloyd was 19 when she met this child, and despite her age, he followed a sexual relationship with her.

“I am glad that Lloyd at least recognized his guilt.

“Once it is released from prison, Lloyd will be subjected to strict conditions and will be closely monitored for the rest of his life.

“If he violates any of the conditions he has to respect, a quick return to prison can be expected.”
