Fatal traffic accident attracts police to Sunshine beach

The unity of forensic accidents investigates a fatal traffic accident that occurred at Sunshine Beach overnight, February 28th.

Initial research indicates that around 6:50 pm, emergency services were called to Edwards Street, following the reports, a BMW X5 collided with two stationary vehicles before running.

The BMW driver, a 48 -year -old Peregian Beach woman was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, with wounds that cannot endanger life.

A passenger from BMW, a 17 -year -old Peregian Beach girl was transported to the Slenshine Coast University Hospital.

The other passenger, a 15 -year -old Peregian Beach girl suffered critical injuries and was declared on the spot.

No other person was injured in the incident.
