Theft of beer in Alliston leads to shopping, drug taxes

A Loretto man is experiencing accusations after a theft on Thursday from an Allist business.

At 5:00 pm, the police were called to business at 30 King St. S., where a man had been seen stealing beer and took off to Dollarama, Nottawasaga OPP said in a press release.

The officers located the man, who had six canned 473 milliliters of James Ready beer and a dozen 473 ml of Canadian Mollson beer boxes, along with what seemed to be cocaine.

The police learned that the man was also searched on an exceptional term.

The 34 -year -old was accused of theft below $ 5,000 (Shoplifting), holding a substance a list 1 for traffic (cocaine) and non -observance of an enterprise. He was detained for a bail hearing.
