Tuscaloosa angels sensitize for maternal assistance with annual lunch

Tuscaloosa, Ala. (WBRC) – adoptive children and families who take care of them need support in accordance with a West Alabama group that was formed to do this.

Tuscaloosa Angels offers what describes as a winding services for those people and now they spread more awareness about the maternal assistance community.

The fifth local lunch of annual love attracted a lot of supporters on the Tuscaloosa River market, raising support and raising money for the Western Alabama community.

The executive director of the non -profit estimates that about 45 adoptive families are in Tuscaloosa county, a number that jumps at 65 or 70 when they include surrounding counties.

Tuscaloosa Angeles offers relational and emotional support through their love program to meet the specific needs for adoptive families.

“In Tuscaloosa county, there are about 150 children who face maternal assistance at any time,” explained Lauren Hurn with Tuscaloosa Angels. “There is a deficit of placement houses and we want children to take care to have placement stability, which means they do not move from home to the house. So, more houses are always needed, so that children can be in a single home for their entire time in maternal assistance. “

Tuscaloosa Angels also announced that it was moved to a new location at the 218 Main Avenue in Northport.
