The man accused of diverting the bus trimet to stay in prison

The man suspected of hijacking a bus trimes at the point of weapon will remain in prison without bail.

On Friday, Hosea Chambers gave up his right to a preventive detention hearing.

Chambers is accused of pulling fires, then climbed the bus near the north -west 5 and Glisan at the end of January.

The police say Chambers then forced the driver to walk around several city blocks before getting up.

The police arrested him after a one -hour stand.

There were people aboard the bus when Chambers stepped; However, the driver helped him to leave safely.

Chambers is experiencing multiple charges, including kidnapping and robbery.
