Adegboyega “could not sleep” after Hibs Var controversial

Defendant Dundee United, Emmanuel Adegboyega, says that “he could not sleep correctly” after their controversy lime in Wednesday’s defeat by 3-1 by Hibernian at Tannadice.

United believed that Sam Dalby put him 2-1 in the second half, but following a long lime intervention, the goal was eliminated, while the striker was considered to drive the ball on his own arm before entering the net.

“I am still (I start) because I don’t think I could sleep correctly after a decision like this,” said the Irish.

“I felt like a robbery is honest in my opinion, so there is a bit of frustration through the camp.

“I simply disagree with him (lime). What happened on Wednesday was the nail in the coffin for me.

“At this moment, they could not be suitable for the purpose, I think that show that aspect of lime on Wednesday.

“I don’t know if they need to change or have to be inclined, they are in the middle of both, but I think a change will come before a decision to peel.”

The result meant that United – which is now the fifth – missed the chance to overcome the Aberdeen Sunday opponents in the third.

Adegboyega was asked if they can channel their frustration from the middle of the week to visit this weekend at Pittodrie.

“I think we have to let him leave because Sunday is a completely different game, a completely different opposition,” he replied.

“The frustration we felt on Wednesday, we felt on Thursday, and at present some of us still feel it today, but once the Sunday has hit is a new ball game, a new team, so we have to change the concentration and focus on Aberdeen.”

“Obviously, we played pretty well, so I think it’s just to improve some aspects of our mistakes and also just to get the result.”
