NORDEN – A summons was issued to Ronald Loeffler, 52 years old, in Westbrook, who was accused of a number of threats of violence and an offense of the fifth degree attack following a June 2024 incident.

According to the law enforcement report, a deputy of the sheriff in Cottonwood County responded to a call on the morning of June 23, 2024. Dispatched reported that a person at a story in Storden said that a man, later identified as Loeffler, was at the house and threatened to kill them. The shipment also said the person seemed very upset.

As he was heading to the residence, Dispatch called again saying that Loeffler was no longer at the residence. The officer responded at home and spoke to the part that reported, which was still visibly upset.

They shared that Loeffler stayed at their residence for a month and that the two had an argument about a dog at home. The reporting side said Loeffler stole the dog and brought him to Lamberton. They shared, presented at the house that morning and wanted things. When the reporting part told him he thought he already had his objects, Loeffler was upset and said, “I’ll kill you.” They said they never opened Loeffler’s door and spoke through it throughout the whole incident.

Loeffler has an appearance at the Cottonwood Court of the Fifth District Court on March 3.
