Five teenagers arrested after the 17 -year -old boy stabbed “at the party” in Nottingham | UK News

Five teenagers were arrested after a 17 -year -old boy was stabbed to what the police think is a “flat party” in Nottingham.

The teenager was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but not who can endanger life. Another two, a 17 -year -old boy and a 16 -year -old girl, were also injured.

It comes after the emergency services were called to an incident at an address in Hounds Gate, shortly after 11.40 PM, on Friday, the police in Nottinghamshire said.

An 18 -year -old man and four 17 -year -old boys were arrested, force said. They remain in the custody of the police.

The nearby roads were closed as the investigations continue and Castle Nottingham said it was “temporarily closed on Saturday due to the closes.

Detective inspector Chris Berryman said: “We believe that this incident happened during a party in a apartment and we work to understand the events in previous moments, during and after it happened.

“We particularly want to hear from anyone who was in the apartment or witnessing people running from the scene shortly afterwards.

“Dashcam drivers are also asked to get in touch if they attended any part of this disturbance.

“This type of violence is completely unacceptable and we will do everything you need to bring the person or persons responsible for these wounds in court.”

The superintendent Kathryn Craner said: “Currently, there is nothing to suggest that this incident is related to the most in the beginning of the week.

“However, we will keep an open mind while last night’s events are meticulously researched.

“We will continue to maintain a high and visible presence in the city to provide reinsurance and talk to anyone.”
