The teacher of Victor High School accused of minor’s rape

Victor, NY -David W. Porter, a high school teacher from the Victor Central School District is accused of rape. It is assumed that Porter was employed in sexual relations with a person under seventeen years in December 2024.

While the victim is a student, I am not a current Porter student. There is no evidence that the law in question took place on the property of the school.

Porter was notified and released on his own recognition on Saturday. A protective order was issued on behalf of the victim. The next court date will be at Victor Town Court, Tuesday, March 4, at 14:00

When notified of the investigation, Victor Central Schools made measures to ensure the safety of his students, including plating on immediately and seeking provisional and immediate suspension of his teaching certificate. The investigation is ongoing, and the Victor Central school district cooperates fully.

“These circumstances are disturbing. The safety and well -being of our school community is of the greatest importance. Additional support and resources will be available on Monday for students and personal. If you or your child need immediate support, please contact your child director. The school will send information as the law enforcement allows, “said Dr. Timothy Terranova, the superintendent of Victor Central schools.
