Kuwait police arrest a couple behind 22 vehicle theft

Kuwait City, 1 Mar: as part of the continuous efforts of the Ministry of Interior to combat crime and improve the Security, the criminal security sector, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigations – the Department of Investigation Governor Farwaniya, has successfully arrested a tape involved in the theft of the vehicle. Gang was made up of a man and a woman who used professional tools to steal vehicles in various locations in the country.

Following thorough investigations, detectives identified suspects as a male and feminine citizen. They used a systematic method, using stolen vehicles for a short time before stealing their contents and abandoning them in open dirt courts. The suspects were detained in the Andalus area, where they confessed that they committed 22 vehicles on several governments. Authorities have recovered 15 stolen vehicles together with several stolen items.

The accused and stolen property recovered were handed over to the relevant authorities for legal actions. The Ministry of Interior reaffirms its commitment to combat crime in all its forms and to take strict legal measures against those who threaten public security. It also urges citizens and residents to cooperate with security forces and report any suspicious activities, using the emergency number 112.
