The owner of houses holds a suspicious of theft of 65 years at the point of weapon, the man says he wanted to buy crack

The owners of the houses returned the tables on a 65-year-old suspect and kept him in the weapon, after the man had entered a truck and took a weapon to buy crack.

The Sheriff of Jasper County, Chuck Havard, says on Monday around 2:10 in the morning, a deputy responded to a burglary call to a house on the FM 2246 from Evadale.

Housing owners called 911 and said they caught a man who entered their vehicle and kept the man at the point of weapon. The deputy arrived and immediately took the suspect in arrest. The suspect had several articles from the owners of house owners, including a gun that was taken from the vehicle. The suspect said he stole the property to buy “crack”, according to the Havard sheriff. The suspect was identified as Anthony Andre Threatt, 65, without an address (transient).

The deputies arrested Threeatt and led him to the Jasper County prison. He is accused of the theft of a firearm, a state imprisonment offense and the theft of a vehicle, a class A.

“We hired to combat criminal activity in Jasper County,” said Havard Sheriff. “The prison in Jasper County is right where this person has to be. It is ridiculous to take things that belong to others and we will do everything we can to stop them. In Jasper County, not only that our deputies are vigilant, but our properties are also hats.
