Man, 33 years old, arrested in connection with the southern robbe

Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – A man was arrested following a robbery in which a vehicle was stolen in the south – East Topeka, officials said.

Theft was reported around 7:30 pm on Saturday at AMOCO petrol from 2901 SE Fremont St.

Police officials in Topek said a man threatened a person before stealing the individual’s vehicle.

The police added that the victim and the suspect know each other.

As a result of the investigation, the police located the suspect in the 2100 block of Swygart Street.

That person, identified as Anthony G. Hester, 33, from Topeka, was arrested and reserved in the Shawnee County prison in connection with the robbery and theft of a motor vehicle.

Hester was held on an obligation of $ 100,000 in the prison in Shawnee County, officials said.

No wounds were reported.
