The woman takes the plea agreement in the leadership of Erburita from Leelanau County, a deputy attack case

Leelanau County, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) – A City City woman facing five charges of crime after an appeal that involved a deputy of Leelanau County, took a plea agreement on Monday.

42 -year -old Jessica Perkins said guilty for two offenses:

  • Driving while in a state of intoxication, the third offense
  • Police officer fleeing, the third crime

With the agreement of pleading, three additional charges will be rejected for conviction. These include ordinary third offense offenses, the aggression of a police officer and the malicious destruction of the police property.

Perkins was accused of hitting the Patrol car of the deputy of Leelanau County and of leaving the scene, during a malicious destruction of real estate investigation in September 2024.

During a pursuit, the investigators said that Perkins rolled his vehicle.

A mandate was issued for her arrest, after Perkins did not appear at a scheduled referral.

In December, It was extradited To Leelanau County in Venice, Florida to cope with the accusations.

A date of conviction has not yet been scheduled.
