Twenty new complaints under The Federal Request Act on Cake Request They were submitted to the US Army claim at Fort Meade, Md., According to Christine Dunn, a lawyer with Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight. The company has already filed applications on behalf of 22 men who said they were abused by Stockin.

“The army focused on Dr. Stockin’s criminal prosecution,” Dunn said. “Now, this has concluded and it was time to respond to the army for his role, which allowed the abuse of his victims to take place.”

Administrative claims are the first step in establishing the right of a victim to sue the federal government for financial damages. Each of the claims requires $ 5 million.

The victims claim that the army was not diligent in the supervision of Stockin’s activities at Madigan Army Medical Center, Lewis-Mcchord Hospital and did not act quickly when complaints about the doctor’s behavior.

“The army owed a duty to take care of Madigan patients to make reasonable efforts to ensure their welfare while at the medical unit,” wrote a victim, identified only as John Doe no. The negligence of the army determined me directly to be sexually assaulted by Dr. Stockin. “

Stockin reached Lewis-Mcchord in June 2019 and was assigned to the Pain Management Clinic in Madigan. He was prevented from seeing patients at the beginning of 2022 following the reaction of the army to Stockin’s initial claims.

Stockin was accused of sexually abused contact and indecent view in August 2023. By January 2024, Stockin faced a total of 52 charges of Violations of the uniform military justice code with a possible maximum punishment of over 250 years.

Men have been assigned to Stockin – a doctor of army pain management. Once alone in a examination room, Stockin tells men to get rid of and then dare them on men’s genitals or make raw comments while watching their body.

The victims who testified during Stockin’s marriage-martial court told them that the doctor told them that watching and touching are “routine” parts of the medical examination, even when the patient complained of neck, shoulders, back or elbows.

Dunn, the lawyer dealing with the civilian action against the army, said that the Pentagon is six months to investigate each request. They can set up with the victim or refuse the request. If they are refused, the applicants can sue the US district court.
