Man accused of shooting his wife

Jonesboro, Ark. (Kait) – Jonesboro police arrested a man after saying he shot his wife.

According to the statement, the officers responded to block 300 of North Drake Street in terms of a shooting Friday, February 28th.

When the police arrived, they faced Starks and, after a “short fight”, was arrested.

Officers found a woman suffering from several wounds to shooting. The statement states that he had three injuries, “one in the chin, one in the throat and one in his left hand through two fingers.”

Police said Starks drink when he and his wife, the victim, began to argue about the ongoing problems in their marriage.

Two women were also in the house, trying to mediate between the two.

The police said that Starks then went to the bedroom and returned to the living room with a silver gun, shooting at the two women and then to his wife.

Judge Fowler issued a cash/guarantee bond of $ 1, with a contact order for victims.

Starks is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, April 24th.
